finally i managed to post a blog in more than a month...this is a special blog for me coz i am writing this while the class is ON. dont know why, i am not intrested.
today is my 14 th day in singapore and i have managed to survive a very hectic schedule, to do some charity for the blogger community and inspire the world with my thoughts.
the day i landed up in s'pore with my friends i.e. on 30th june, i was not at all happy, unlike those who had come with me. i knew that very soon i would be home sick..yup, its true- i am a family man(will marry the day i find a perfect match. Does not matter-whether she wishes or not). the thoughts of leaving my mom and dad continued to haunt during the next 25 min drive from airport to college. Finally, i was facing a 6 storey@ 10hydreabad road (dental hospital in british times..a heritage site..transformed into state of art B-school) with my 38 kgs of luggage, just to find that my cabin is on the top floor and the lift's license is still to be acquired....ahh..i lost arnd 500 gms of my precious FAT pushing my luggage to the cabin (i had the enthusiasm to go upstairs only till 4th floor-girls wing).
While trying to network with new friends, i came across few faces that i had seen on my evaluation day and while in OC course in Mumbai. This college seems no different than a normal school, college or B-school, where u select your first gang on the basis of region, language, blah blah..but these things will fade out sun once we start interacting with evryone.
in just 14 days, we participated in many crucial events viz inaugration, trip to sentosa, visits by elite personalities and corporates of S'pore. but the most exciting trip for me are the trips to classrooms (wondering why...wait 4 my next blog). scarcest resource here is time but i have learnt ways to kill time.
most importantly, we are getting faculties from the premier B-schools of india.
all in all, i can say that next 10 months will b "excruciating" fun.
Few years down the line, i want to be known as Vinayak "the crusader", alumni of pioneer batch of SPJCM, singapore.
