A COOMMITMENT, I AM TRYING TO KEEP
Networking with ur frnds..thru net...quite common but wht if u c sm1's profile with whom u hv lost contact 4 almost 2 yrs....next to miracle..rght?
while searching 4 my frnd Gunjun, i came across a name Gunjan(thnx to my typing error)...Gunjan Jethani. whn i scartched my memory chip, i realised tht i hv hrd this name be4 and 2 min latr her profile dictated tht she ws the 1 who helped me in my rehab aftr my Anterior Cruciate Ligament surgery.
wel..i don no much abt my "John Gloster" in detail coz i hd only 14 physiotherapy sessions with her during my 15 day stay in Sancheti Hospital, but i still i feel the urge to pen dwn my experience in C-ward, rum# 1.
It ws 21 st august,2004, whn i ws tore apart by Dr Arora. Thn i hd thought tht most painful moments of my life is over...but as usual my prediction ws wrong.
Very next day, appeared Dr Madhura , a final yr trainee in Sancheti to inform me tht very sun Dr Gunjan wud b strting my Physiotherapy. 15 min latr, appeared another lass in green attire (her eyes also hd tinge green appearence... i wondered why this forest official in my cabin), who introduced herself as Gunjan Jethani, 4th yr student in Sancheti. Listening to her my mom turned skeptical 4 she did not want any inexperienced hands to touch my knee. But to my dismay, she didnt utter a single wrd and Gunjan took charge of my legs.
The first session dealt less with my affected rght knee (thnkfully) but she did no mercy to my "Healthy and strong" left leg..."lift...lift..thoda aur...Hold...1,2,3,....10....dwn" and this continued till my abs strted writhing in pain. Finally, she left and i thnked 'master of destiny..The Almighty'.
cum 23rd august, I ws eagerly waiting 4 Gunjan...48 hrs on bed, my body ws demanding sm "out of cabin" activity. Sharp 0900 hrs, Gunjan ws there 4 another tormenting hr on bed but i ws relieved to know tht 2-3 days latr i wud b practising use of crutches in Sancheti's quadrangle.

Gradually, i learnt walking with the help of crutches. Unlike Dr Madhura who ws taking care of my evning sessions, Dr Gunjan's sessions were heavily loaded. Nvr did she show ant mercy or flexibility in the routine excercises. I feel Dr Madhura ws more caring thn Gunjan 4 she used to give me a 1 min brk (if i demanded) be4 strting another set of excercises but Gunjan alwys said NO to my pleas.

Finally, on 6th september, i ws discharged(along with my crutches) frm the hospital. Tht day Gunajn gave me a list of excersices tht i hd to do myself..THNX a lot Gunjan 4 the excercises helped me alot in my recovery...
..
If u cum across any footprint impression tht says "THNX SANCHETI", make no mistake in guessing tht I had graced the place sm time bk. U may also cum across this footprint on sm body's bk-side...thy r my frnds who celebrated their B'day with me.

Mr Vinayak , This is Dr Gunjan Jethani. who according to you is a terror..
Firstly, I treat my patients with perfection and if i get carried away with thier nos and naassssssss then they will be very sluggish to excercise.
Secondly, If you feel that i was completely ruthless . sorry to say ... you have to work hard to gain some amount of perfection in life.. so hardwork will always pay u
Thirdly, If you were a 45 yr old obese male i would have considered your plea. but u should be more enthusiatic.. than me ...
